Expand Shared VHDX in SOFS Guest Cluster 2012 R2

A client has a 2012 R2 2 node guest cluster configured as a SOFS using a Shared VHDX.

We need to expand the shared VHDX and I understand that it can’t be done "online" and wanted to confirm the steps required to carry out the expansion.

I assume that we shutdown both Guest Cluster Nodes, expand the shared VHDX using the Hyper-V GUI, Start up the "owner node", extend the shared VHDX in "Disk Management" and then bring up the second guest cluster node?

Cheers for now
